Domains

We have a team of best research minds working in the domians of Automotive Technologies, Digital Twins, IoT and Robotics.

Automotive

We bring advanced research in battery management systems and simulations of electric motors to make the EV industry We bring advanced research in battery management systems and simulations of electric motors to make the EV industry better by improving performance or efficiency standards.

Digital Twins

We have collaborated to work on Digital Twins which allows manufacturers to optimize performance engineering thus accelerating product design. It enables them to virtually assess the overall performance of the vehicle’s battery, motor, and power electronics and explore the balance of performance attributes, such as drivability, range, safety, aerodynamics, and thermal and energy management. Our emphasis is on efficiency.

IIoT

We use IoT technology to address concerns of energy efficiency, sensing, self-managing, security and scalability.

Industrial IoT (IIoT) is one of the pillars of Industry X. The ACoE brings to table expertise in various aspects of IIoT such as sensor design, data fusion, distributed data analysis etc. to find widespread opportunities across wide spectrum of applications in logistics, supply-chain, agriculture, mining, and manufacturing.

Robotics

With Robotics assuming significance in manufacturing, inspection, safe and secure handling of hazardous material etc., the ACoE focuses on the developing technologies to enable Human-Robot co-work environments to be safe and efficient. The Center also contributes significantly in the development of Robotics technologies for sustainability, e.g.  safe reclaim material for reuse in end-of-life products such as Lithium from batteries.
