PROGRAMS
Applications are being invited from the faculty for the ‘4 Accenture Faculty Fellowships Programs’ at IIT Madras. The scheme is supported by Accenture Solutions India Limited to encourage faculty working in the broad area of “Autonomous Robotics Systems”.
A total of 4 fellowships, one under each area is being offered.

Faculty of IIT Madras are encouraged to apply for this fellowship. The scheme details, norms and the procedure to apply are given below.
- The faculty fellow should have demonstrated pursuit of excellence in research.
- The term will be for 2 years, with no extension. Faculty Fellow performance will be tracked closely during the term.
- Apart from the normal faculty-related activities, the Faculty Fellow is expected get involved in offering summer and winter schools towards advancement of Autonomous Robotics Systems.
- The fellowship will include a monthly encomium for the faculty of an additional Rs. 20,000 and a research grant of Rs. 20 lakhs per year.
- Age limits for candidates in each category:
- less than 45 years for Professors
- less than 40 years for Associate Professors
- less than 35 years for Assistant Professors

A faculty fellow selection committee comprised of Senior Professors, Chair professors, Fellows of National Academies. will be formed for selection of faculty fellows.
